Stüssy Zoomer Client: Honda / Stüssy
In 2005 the Honda Zoomer was brought to the UK and 20 people from different walks of life (including Ben) were commissioned to customize one bike each.
A year later Ben was asked to create a very limited edition fleet of 10 Zoomers for Stüssy.
Inspired by ‘classic custom culture’, and Stüssy’s rich surf heritage, the bikes were fitted with custom made, intricately lazer-etched, wooden panels. (evoking memories of tattoos and 1950’s Hawaiian surf wagons!)
All graphics were designed by Studio Oscar and each bike was hand pin-striped by Melliard.
The Stüssy Zoomer was exclusive to the Stüssy Store London, and each individually numbered bike came with it’s own skateboard and a custom Stüssy Alpha MA-1 jacket.
